The question i have is, how could this have been handled differently? You have report of a kidnapping, and I for one would want the police to investigate something as serious as a kidnapping. But if he was cleared by the first cop who questioned him, why wasn’t this information passed on? I would have hate to hear that a black girl was kidnapped and the police did nothing about it, but i don’t think you want innocent people being harassed for walking down the street with their love ones.
